Our LIMITED EDITIONS are not produced specifically in small numbers to enhance or manipulate demand. 
Quite often we are able to obtain quite unusual, rare or special-natural ingredients and almost always these come to us in modest quantities, limiting the  number of designs we can then create.  
The examples below reflect this situation.

Argosy/Polar.

Size: approx 21" (53cm) square.   Overall depth approx 60mm (2.5")

The argosy/polar (it was named twice - so both names stuck!) is quite a special design.
The background is a finely textured canvas:  NOTE that due to the idiosyncrasies of 
photography the background in the two images above seems very different but it is in fact 
the same.   The silver version is closest to the real thing!

LEFT HAND IMAGE:   Outer frame is silvered, then hand polished to effect a very 
slight 'care worn' appearance. 
The inner frame has a hint of grey amidst the foundation cream.

RIGHT HAND IMAGE:  Outer frame is very (very) dark brown, hand polished.  
The inner frame has been WAXED to a shade almost black. 

BOTTOM LEFT IMAGE:  Outer frame is IVORY.  The inner frame is also IVORY. 

Please note that we cannot supply the   TOP RIGHT side darker version anywhere in the USA 
as this model we supply exclusively to Baker Furniture.    

The limited aspect  comes from the 'ingredient' chosen.   These are very old 
architectural/imprint  blocks.  They are a scarce item to find in any quantity!

Next is something truly different. : A faithfully made replica of an original "T-Rex" egg...which we 
have set in a magnificent white-on-white frame combination.    
Highly unusual and a superb 'talking point' piece.    Dimensions are 73 x 58cm  (approx 31 x 21").

Tarbosaurus egg

Mongolia

Upper Cretaceous, 70 million years old

Tarbosaurus was the Asian cousin of the dreaded
North American predator Tyrannosaurus Rex.

This egg is one of the largest ever found.  It was the 
same volume (and weight) as a new born human baby, 
but an adult Tarbosaurus grew to 12 metres in length.

The original of this egg is within close reach to us 
and no other organisation in the world is 
reproducing and framing it in this fashion.
What is actually framed is a 50% slice-through and 
we can frame both segments to make a matched pair.

The image here is a little 'bright' in it's whiteness.  Although 
it is all white (both frames hand polished using white wax) 
it is in fact not overpowering!
